Privacy Policy

We respect your right to keep your personal information confidential. We do, in the course of business, collect certain personal information about you, but only when that information is obtained with your authorization.  In the course of completing applications and related account documents, we will obtain your name, address, phone number, social security number, birth date, and other pertinent information.  We use such information to perform certain financial planning services, prepare applications, etc.  Examples of procedures of collecting information include: interviews, phone calls, letters, e-mails from you, client information worksheets, tax information, and confirmations.

In general, we do not share private information with nonaffiliated third parties; so there is no need to ‘opt out’ of such arrangements with our firm.  However, there are certain circumstances when we are required to provide personal information such as: to comply with an enforceable subpoena or summons, to properly comply with a state or federal licensing board, or to provide information as required by affiliated companies we have selling agreements with to provide investment and insurance services to you.  If you close your account or if we lose contact with you, we will continue to share information in accordance with our current privacy policy and practices.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information, except as noted above, to employees and other parties who must use that information to provide services to you.  Their right to further disclose and use the information is limited by the policies of our firm, applicable law, and nondisclosure agreements where appropriate.  Our firm also maintains physical, procedural, shredding and electronic safeguards to help guard your personal information from unauthorized access or alteration.
