Jack attended Utah State University and graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Accounting in 1975. He then earned a Master of Accounting at Utah State University in 1976.

Having owned a CPA practice and having taught accounting, insurance, and auditing at Utah State University, Jack joined Harold Dance Investments to serve as a financial advisor.

Jack is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Utah.

Jack grew up in Logan, Utah, and resides there with his wife.
